Proteus now offers two models of towable, trailer-mounted asphalt Hot Box, available to purchase, or for long-term and short-term hires. We have been producing the current HB2T model for over ten years, and have been selling trailer-mounted Hot Boxes in various guises since the 1990s.

Using these Hot Boxes to mend potholes and other surface damage allows you to use hot asphalt on these sorts of road repair jobs. This allows for a long-lasting repair process with excellent longevity and resistance to weathering and stresses.

All models have twin storage chambers, and capacities range from 2.0-2.5 tonnes. Standard models come with thermostatic gas heating, but we also offer diesel-fuelled units with an integral fuel tank.
