These boxes are available in various capacities to suit different sizes of vehicle. All our demountable units use our clean-burning, gentle thermostatically-controlled gas heating system.

These Mobile Hot Boxes can be mounted on trucks from 7.5t GVW upwards (see the Micro Box section for units for smaller vehicles). They will keep hot asphalt up to spec for long periods, allowing the customer to use long-lasting hot material for all types of road repair.

Some of the smaller units can be mounted on flatbed trucks, but most customers mount their Demountable Hot Boxes on tippers. This allows them to benefit from fast, controlled gravity material discharge, without all the complications and service requirements that the wearing parts and complexity of auger-driven Hot Boxes can cause. We also offer self-tipping models with integral tipping gear, which allow gravity discharge on flatbed vehicles.
